Build Your Own Flexible Tour Itinerary

A fully flexible, full day itinerary with a knowledgeable local guide.  We will chat to you by phone or email before your tour so you can tell us your interests and any particular things you want to see. We will build a bespoke full day private tour itinerary just for you and your group (max 4).

View the other tours for ideas, and we'll tailor your day to your interests. There are also lots of places on Skye which are quiet, and we can suggest locations and timings to beat the crowds and see a quieter side of the island.

For the more adventurous, attractions like the Old Man of Storr and the Quirang make great 2 to 3 hour hikes, so you could choose one or both of those then we can add in the other locations you would like to visit.

There are boat trips from Portree, Carbost and Elgol, which can be booked in advance with the rest of the day arranged around them.

We could take you on a local arts and crafts trail around the island or combine it with a foodie tour of local eateries.

While most of our tours do not include food stops, on a bespoke tour you might want to eat lunch at a Michelin-starred restaurant, or visit the island's oldest pub the Stein Inn, which has great seafood. These would have to be booked well in advance but we can absolutely help.  There are also many food trucks and places like the Oyster Shed in Carbost, which has reasonably priced seafood with a great view of the Cuillin.

You can also convert your experience into a two day tour to fit in more stops or to spend longer at each site, just get in touch.

Your guide, Rod, lives on Skye and is very knowledgeable about this beautiful island.  He offers a range of themed Skye tours and also a fully bespoke option which can include guided hikes to more adventurous off the beaten track spots.  Have a look at all our tours or get in touch.
